Pre-Inspection
When we collect your rug from your home in Carmel, IN or you bring it to our facility, the experienced staff ensures a full examination of its condition. Any specific concerns you have are documented on your work order. This meticulous inspection guarantees that all your rug’s needs are addressed during the cleaning process.
Dry Soil Removal
More than 70% of the soil in your rug is dry, particulate matter that standard vacuuming can’t remove. Over time, this soil and grit accumulate, damaging rug fibers and accelerating wear. Our initial and crucial step is dry soil removal. Through mechanical action, we can extract pounds of dry soil, restoring your rug’s fibers to a clean, grit-free state.

We exclusively use biodegradable and environmentally friendly surfactants, many of which are certified as “Wool Safe” by an international chemical certification group. This ensures our cleaning solutions do not harm wool fibers or leave unnecessary residues.
Our cleaning process is thorough and meticulous, involving true hand washing that allows us to cater to the specific needs of your rug. We pay special attention to the fringes, detailing them with care. Any spots or stains are addressed during the wash, ensuring a comprehensive cleaning. After the wash, we perform a thorough rinse and then use a centrifuge to remove up to 95% of the moisture from your rug, similar to the spin cycle in a washing machine.
Drying
Our process removes up to 95% of the water during cleaning, significantly reducing drying times and allowing us to return your rug faster than our competitors. Before entering our heated drying room, the pile and fringes are groomed for a uniform appearance once dry.
We utilize a temperature and humidity-controlled drying environment, providing dry times as short as 3 to 4 hours. Extended drying times can cause various issues, such as stiffening, color bleeding, fringe browning, and even mold and mildew growth within 24 hours if not properly dried.
final inspection
Once your rug is completely dry, it undergoes a thorough final inspection. If you’re in Carmel, IN, we will contact you to schedule a delivery or pick-up to ensure your rug is delivered promptly.
